CONGRESSMAN JOE MORELLE ENDORSED BY CONGRESSIONAL PROGRESSIVE CAUCUS PAC

November 22, 2019 | Press Release

Rochester, NY – Today, Congressman Joe Morelle announced he has been endorsed by the Congressional Progressive Caucus PAC (CPC PAC), the political arm of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, as he seeks re-election to the House of Representatives in the 25th District. The Congressional Progressive Caucus is the largest values-based caucus of the House Democratic Caucuses and promotes a strong, progressive agenda.  The caucus consists of one United States Senator and ninety-nine members of the United States House of Representatives.

“In his first year in Congress, Rep. Morelle has been a strong partner and a true champion of the progressive values CPC stands for,” said Congressional Progressive Caucus Co-Chairs Mark Pocan and Pramila Jayapal. “We need to keep Joe Morelle in Congress to continue the progress we are making on behalf of everyday American families. We enthusiastically endorse his re-election and look forward to continuing our work together.”

“I am honored to have the support of the Congressional Progressive Caucus PAC,” said Morelle. “Now more than ever, it is critical to have a strong voice advancing our progressive ideals that are constantly under attack by the Trump Administration. With the partnership of the CPC, I’ll continue working to hold Donald Trump accountable while fighting for bold solutions to address our climate crisis, keep our neighborhoods safe from gun violence, and bring relief to working families by lowering the cost of prescription drugs.”

The Congressional Progressive Caucus is committed to fighting for social and economic justice, protecting the civil liberties of all Americans, protecting our planet from the impacts of climate change, and standing up for all people – not just the wealthiest 1%.
